Getting Started With Your Notification System
Getting Started introduces schools and districts to the benefits and features of using automated SchoolMessenger notification systems with the goal of helping you reach new levels of parent and community involvement. Through this workshop, participants are able to:
- Learn about SchoolMessenger capabilities and how they are used to improve communication with parents and community members.
- Create and send effective voice and email messages.
- Run reports to measure the success of the messages.
- Identify effective uses for SchoolMessenger within the participants' own school or district.
Expected outcomes
- Proficient and confident use of SchoolMessenger notification system
- Introduction to experienced-based guidelines for getting results from notifications
- Increased parent involvement due to improved communication
